Established in the Pursuit of Truth
Debate Capital· of the ·World
Where the world's greatest arguments are won and lost.
Where evidence is the only authority. Where excellence is the only currency.
Every award on this platform is earned — not purchased.
No donation, membership, or financial contribution of any kind
influences a debater's standing, points, or award eligibility.
The arena is open to all equally.
Excellence is the only currency that matters here.
The Foundation
Three Pillars of the Arena
Every factual claim is fact-checked in real time by Claude AI. Points awarded for accuracy, deducted for falsehood. Sources cited with every verdict. The platform rewards correctness — not confidence.
When a debater disputes an AI verdict, three Scholar Justices — vetted academics, jurists, and experts — deliberate and render a binding written ruling that becomes part of the platform's permanent record.
Monthly, quarterly, and annual awards recognise the finest minds. Debater of the Month. Debater of the Year. University of the Quarter. Every honour is determined by verified performance — never by financial contribution.
"We believe this platform will be remembered as the moment the internet grew up — the moment humanity reclaimed its oldest and most noble tradition: the pursuit of truth through rigorous, evidence-based argument."
— Founder, Debate Capital of the World
Our Mission
To Restore the Dignity of Human Discourse
Social media has done what no censorship in history managed to accomplish — it made serious thinking feel pointless. The most inflammatory argument wins. The most carefully constructed one disappears. The greatest intellectual tradition in human history — the rigorous, evidence-based pursuit of truth — has been reduced to a competition for likes.
Debate Capital of the World was founded to be the antidote. We are building the first global institution where arguments are judged exclusively by evidence — verified by artificial intelligence, adjudicated by vetted scholars, and rewarded by merit alone.
Our mission is simple: to give every serious mind on earth — regardless of nationality, institution, or financial means — an arena worthy of their intellect. Where being right means something. Where truth is not a matter of who shouts loudest but of who argues best.
How It Works
Platform Overview
A Debate is Opened
Any registered member may open a debate on any topic by submitting a clear proposition. Debates are categorised across 20 fields — from Constitutional Law to Climate Science — and run for 30 or 90 days. Opening a debate awards the founder 10 points.
Debaters Engage
Participants choose their side — For or Against — and submit arguments. They may reply directly to each other in structured threads, building a genuine intellectual exchange rather than a shouting match. AI monitors every reply for redundancy, flagging those that fail to introduce new evidence.
AI Verifies Every Claim
The moment an argument is submitted, Claude AI fact-checks every factual claim in real time. Verdicts are rendered with a confidence percentage and verified sources. True arguments earn points. False arguments lose them. Uncertain claims may be escalated to the Meeting of Minds.
Challenges Go to the Tribunal
Any debater who believes an AI verdict is in error may formally challenge it through the Meeting of Minds tribunal. A panel of three Scholar Justices — vetted academics and jurists — reviews the case and renders a binding written ruling that becomes part of the platform's permanent record.
Excellence is Recognised
Points accumulate across monthly, annual, and all-time leaderboards. Monthly and annual awards are announced with formal press releases. Universities compete in the quarterly League. Every award is earned through verified performance — no financial contribution influences standing in the arena.
Institutions Shape the Record
Partner universities, think tanks, bar associations, and research institutes participate as institutional members — competing in the University League, sponsoring award categories, and appointing faculty as Scholar Justices whose rulings carry binding authority across the global arena.
The Tribunal
The Meeting of Minds
Artificial intelligence, however sophisticated, is capable of error. It may misread nuance, lack access to the most current research, or misjudge a highly specialised claim. The platform acknowledges this openly — and responds to it with a system of human scholarly oversight unlike anything that exists on any other platform.
When a debater believes an AI verdict is in error, they may formally challenge it through the Meeting of Minds — the platform's judicial tribunal. The challenge goes before a panel of three Scholar Justices selected from our vetted registry of academics, jurists, and subject-matter experts.
The panel deliberates. They render a written ruling. That ruling is binding, permanent, and publicly recorded as part of the platform's institutional memory — a growing body of intellectual precedent that guides future debates and future AI calibration.
Verified academics with relevant field expertise. Assigned to standard disputes. Filing fee: 5 points.
Faculty from accredited partner universities and organisations. Assigned to complex disputes. Filing fee: 15 points.
Distinguished professors, former judges, and senior scholars. Assigned only to landmark disputes. Filing fee: 30 points.
All Justices must declare conflicts of interest before accepting a case. Rulings are rendered within 14 days and published in the permanent Landmark Rulings record.
